About

Mission

Our mission is to provide easily accessible information about Orthodox saints and angels while offering a user-friendly platform for discovering their life and attributes. Since April 2024, we have committed to researching and documenting the lives of at least one saint each day, continuously expanding our comprehensive database. In line with our goal, we share a carefully curated selection of this information through daily posts on our Instagram account.

Progress

Although the exact total number of saints is unknown, our goal is to eventually complete this database with all available details about the saints of the Orthodox Church*. We are currently adding at least one saint every day, with over 574 saints already included.

This website is affiliated with the Russian Orthodox Church and, as such, will include only those saints recognized within our jurisdiction.

Assistance

In our effort to develop and maintain a comprehensive yet consistent database, the responsibility of researching and inputting information is entrusted to a select group of administrators. However, we welcome corrections and suggestions through this website. We also encourage fluent bilingual volunteers to reach out if they are able to offer translation support and/or help add additional languages.

Financial Support

We are a not-for-profit project operating on a minimal budget. However, certain technical expenses for hosting and maintaining this website are unavoidable and will grow as our site attracts more users. Please consider donating via PayPal to support our ongoing growth and the development of new features and improvements.
